USA vs. Cuba

The USA baseball team didn't quite live up to the challenge as the Cuban's easily beat them.

The most exciting point came in the fourth inning when a US player was hit by a pitch. As he started to take first base, the catcher walked right through his path and appeared to say something. The US guy bumped the Cuban as they passed and the Cuban charged at him. The plate umpire got in the middle, but it was too late. The US bench cleared and team US was ready to rumble. The Cubans followed suit and took to the field, even the bull pens charged into the outfield to join in.

It was clear there was no love lost between these two teams. At the bottom of the inning, a Cuban player running to be safe at first was tripped by the US first baseman. It almost came to another bench clearing incident, but the umpires quickly cooled it down.
