The first event I attended was Table Tennis, aka Ping Pong. If you think this is the kind of ping pong you played with your sister or brother as a kid, don't believe it! These people take it very seriously and that ball is moving when they play - remember Forrest Gump? The USA isn't particularly strong in this sport. From what I could see, the Asian countries were dominant, though the best match of the day was Sweden vs. Belorus. |

The blonde on the left from France easily defeated her opponent to the delight of the French fans sitting behind me. |
